The 146.700 repeater is a 110 Watt GE MASTR II E chassis mobile complete with Ultra High Sensitivity receiver, which I converted for repeater use, CTCSS Tone board and NHRC M2 controller that plugs right into the systems board. The Antenna is a Diamond X500 and is fed with about a hundred feet of half inch Andrew hard line. The power supply is a 25 Amp regulated continuous duty commercial analog supply. The repeater lives in a comfortable air conditioned environment.
The 145.110 repeater is a 110 Watt continuous duty GE MASTR II base station complete with Ultra High Sensitivity receiver, and a GE continuous duty power supply. The Antenna is a Comet GP9 and is fed with nearly 200 hundred feet of half inch hard line. The repeater lives in a comfortable air conditioned environment.
The Echolink link radio is a IC706 and lives in my shack.
The Echolink computer to radio interface is a home brew consisting of a hardware DTMF decoder, with a microcontroller to handle the serial commands between the computer and radio. The radio is keyed by commands received from the Echolink program and the DTMF is sent back serially to the program. The controller program has a settable TX key timer that just unkeys the link radio after a preset time.
